Posted on: 6 July, 2009
The College of Estate Management is pleased to announce the recent CIOB accreditation of a fast-track Construction Management Route through their established MSc in Surveying course.
This degree comprises a bespoke route through the existing MSc in Surveying programme, with a particular focus on the needs of construction professionals, exploring key aspects of the construction industry and senior construction management roles.
The course is delivered in a distance learning mode and is open to entry for any first degree holder or chartered builders. Sylvia Osborn, Course Director, says:
‘This is an exciting development for the College and the CIOB as it offers an MSc distance learning programme to aspiring construction professionals who wish to remain in the workplace and study in their spare time.’
The course commences in October 2009/February 2010 for Foundation level entry for non-cognate students or in May 2010 for direct entry to Part 1 for semi-cognate and cognate students, with completion taking 21 to 34 months, dependent upon the level of entry.
