The College of Estate Management (CEM) is very pleased to announce a new partnership with the International Centre for Distance and Flexible Learning (ICDFL) in Hong Kong.
The ICDFL is part of the MacGregor Education Group, one of Hong Kong’s main education service providers. The group’s network of partners includes British universities, further education colleges and leading independent schools, as well as education institutions in Australia and New Zealand.
CEM has provided supported distance learning courses for property and construction professionals in Hong Kong for over 30 years. The new partnership will help the College build further on this success, providing a local point of contact, information and support for existing and potential students.
It gives College of Estate Management students access to the MacGregor Group’s study support facilities including lecture rooms and IT resources, as well as ensuring that CEM students in Hong Kong can continue to take their examinations locally.
CEM’s Acting Principal Dr Randolf Cooper said: “We warmly welcome this partnership and look forward to a long and fruitful working relationship with the International Centre for Distance and Flexible Learning.
“This partnership will ensure that the College continues to provide excellent, supported online academic programmes for real estate and construction professionals in Hong Kong.”
Welcoming the new partnership, Professor Stephen Ho, Managing Director of ICDFL, commented: “We are proud to be associated with such a distinguished institution as CEM, which already has such a strong reputation in Hong Kong. We look forward to helping the College build on its long-standing success in Hong Kong.”
