Get involved with Go Green Week 2023

As part of our sustainability student initiatives launched earlier this year, UCEM will be hosting its first ever Go Green Week later this month (24-28 April).
The dedicated week has been organised in collaboration with our Student Officers for Sustainability and will showcase information, activities, events and a student competition on a variety of sustainability topics.
| Monday | Due to a change in schedule, we will now be sharing our alumni stories.We also have a free online yoga relaxation session 6pm-6.45pm to support your mental health and wellbeing. |
| Tuesday | UCEM alumni will share their experiences of sustainability at UCEM and in their workplace in our alumni story series. |
| Wednesday | Our Student Officers for Sustainability will host their own sustainability escape room webinar – can you crack the code? (12.30pm-1.30pm UK time) |
| Thursday | Join us for the next webinar in our Building Perspectives series: What does the construction industry need to know to ensure a sustainable future? (1pm-2pm UK time) |
| Friday | Our UCEM community will share their favourite meat-free recipes on UCEM’s social media channels to inspire you to give it a go! |
Student Photo Competition
Current student at UCEM? Tag us in a picture of you doing something sustainable either at home or in the work place and use the hashtag #UCEMGreenWeek to be in the chance to win a £50 Waterstones voucher.
Go Green Week sits alongside other sustainability student initiatives. The themes for the rest of the academic year are:

The initiatives have been produced in collaboration with our Student Officers for Sustainability and from student and alumni feedback.
