A UCEM apprentice has been shortlisted for an Asian Apprenticeship Award.
Sadaqat Hussain, who is studying on UCEM’s Chartered Surveyor apprenticeship programme, has been nominated in the Construction category for the awards which recognise the success of British Asian apprentices, their employers and learning providers.
Sadaqat, an Apprentice Surveyor at commercial property and real estate consultants, Cushman & Wakefield, said: “I am over the moon and shocked to have been shortlisted!
“I want to say a big thank you to UCEM for being such an amazing learning provider and supporting me through a difficult year in my personal life. In particular, I’d like to thank Jenny Curtis [UCEM Apprenticeship Outcomes Officer], my apprenticeship co-ordinator, who has been fantastic. Without UCEM’s support, I could not have got this far.”
