Biography

Jordan Turner has worked in the property industry since 2017 in which he specialised in property lettings before moving into property and portfolio management in the residential sector. Jordan then transitioned into sales and valuation before becoming a branch manager for a large estate agency in Sheffield.

Having completed his MSc in Real Estate at UCEM, Jordan left the residential sector to work in the commercial sector in which he focused on day to day estate management issues and working on lease events to secure new leases for his client, becoming an Associate member of the RICS in the process.

Whilst working full time, Jordan started lecturing/tutoring at the University of Wolverhampton and at UCEM in which he taught across various modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Jordan is also undertaking his PhD in which he is focusing on going beyond energy efficiency in residential housing and instead putting attention on the materials, methods and technology that contribute to more accurate measures of sustainability. Jordan published his first journal article in summer 2024 and has presented at several conferences during his research journey.
