Biography
Dylan is a Chartered Construction Manager and has a First Class BSc (Hons) in Project Management (Surveying) and an Upper Second Class BA (Hons) in Post-compulsory Education and Training from the University of South Wales.
Prior to entering academia, Dylan worked as a building contractor and has project managed a range of projects from multi-million-pound residential developments to bespoke barn conversions. Dylan has also taught and managed at some of the largest education providers of construction courses across the country and is a former EQA with the country’s largest Awarding Body.
At present, Dylan is an operational firefighter and continues to work in this field, bringing a wealth of relevant knowledge and experience to his delivery which he uses to inform his practice and delivery of the Fire Safety and Building Control modules.

At UCEM, Dylan is Module Leader on the BCU6FSA Fire Safety and PSB7BCI Building Control and Inspection modules. He has also undertaken Module Marking on CON7CMC Management of Construction and MAN6MMA Maintenance Management.
